You Held Me First

You Held Me First" is a deeply personal song about grieving the loss of a relationship with someone who is still alive. Growing up, my dad would sing "I Loved Her First" by Heartland to me and always told me it was "our song". After our relationship broke down, I found myself hearing that song completely differently - you loved me first, you held me first... so what changed? That thought became my debut single, "You Held Me First", releasing 23 October 2026.
