“Karma in the Coma” is one of the most personal songs on Peace I Can’t Wake To. It explores the strange peace I found while unconscious after my accident, and the guilt, memories and unanswered questions that followed me when I woke up. The song sits somewhere between confession and nightmare — looking at karma, survival, and whether making it through something means you were saved, punished, or simply left to deal with what comes next. It’s dark, emotional and cinematic, but at its core it’s about trying to make sense of surviving something that completely changed my life.
